Light Up Leigh is a much-loved community event bringing people together to celebrate the festive season and kick off the Christmas celebrations in Leigh-on-Sea.

With a magical atmosphere, festive children's activities and plenty of opportunities to make special memories, it’s an event for the whole family to enjoy.

This year, the celebrations will extend beyond the Community Centre, with road closures from 3pm to 8pm allowing the High Street to come alive with shops staying open late, hot drinks, tasty treats and special offers from local businesses. It’s the perfect chance to celebrate locally, support independent businesses and enjoy the festive spirit together!
