Join Southend BID in Southend city centre on Saturday 14th November 2026 as Christmas in the City returns with a full day of festive entertainment, family activities, live performances, and seasonal celebrations.

Southend City BID will fill the city centre with Christmas cheer, including a festive market, community performances, roaming entertainment, and activities for all ages. Enjoy performances from local schools, choirs, theatre groups, musicians, and community organisations across Southend city centre.

The celebrations culminate with the Christmas Lights Switch On at 6pm, followed by a spectacular seafront fireworks display at 7.30pm.
