Dante Arcade

Dante Arcade

Dante Arcade is a Spanish visual artist based in Barcelona whose distinctive style draws inspiration from the graffiti culture of the 1990s. Beginning as a self-taught artist, he has developed a contemporary visual language that blends glitch aesthetics, retro-futurism and digital nostalgia to explore the relationship between technology, memory and modern society.

His work is heavily influenced by pop culture, video games, comics and the visual identity of early digital media. Through pixelation, digital distortion and fragmented imagery, Dante Arcade creates thought-provoking artworks that examine how people interact with technology, consumer culture and the ever-changing digital landscape.

Specialising in large-scale murals as well as studio-based work, his practice bridges public art and gallery settings. His pieces often combine vibrant arcade-inspired imagery with deeper narratives about memory, community and the impact of technological systems on everyday life.

Originally from the Mar Menor region of Murcia and now working from Barcelona, Dante Arcade’s artistic journey was shaped by urban culture, skateboarding and rap music, alongside a lifelong fascination with science fiction, comics and graffiti. This fusion of influences has led to a unique artistic approach where the analogue and digital worlds meet, and where past and future exist side by side.

Dante Arcade has exhibited and delivered projects across Europe and the Americas, working with cultural organisations, international public art programmes and global brands. Through every mural and artwork, he continues to explore the evolving visual languages of the digital age, transforming walls into bold, immersive works that invite audiences to reflect, reconnect and rediscover a sense of wonder.
