Before you submit your event
We love to hear about events happening in Southend, but please ensure you have permission from the venue/organiser to share the event with us, and that all information is accurate and up to date at the time of submission.
Submitting your event does not guarantee that it will be published on the Visit Southend website or associated channels. We aim to showcase events that are a good fit for our visitor audience and help promote Southend as a destination. Because of this, we reserves the right not to publish events that are not considered suitable for our tourism audience or editorial channels.
Events we’re not able to include
To help keep our events listings focused and useful for visitors, we do not normally publish: training sessions / courses / regular one-day workshops / lectures or seminars / quiz nights / car boot sales / weekly markets / coffee mornings / exercise classes / cinema listings / charity fundraisers / open mic nights / weekly gigs / local sports club meetups / local sports matches
