The Big Screen – Kung Fu Panda

Big Screen Southend
3.00 pm to 5.00 pm

Outdoor Family Friendly Cinema Screenings at The Forum return, taking over a refurbished Elmer Square!
This year’s programme has been selected in response to Southend Libraries annual summer reading challenge ‘Ready, Set, Read!’, a sports and games themed Challenge to encourage children to enjoy the benefits of reading for pleasure. The outdoor screenings take place every Saturday in August at 3pm – free, no booking necessary.

5 August: Kung Fu Panda (2008), 1h 32m
Kung Fu Panda is an animated film about a clumsy panda named Po, who learns Kung Fu to save his home, the Valley of Peace, from a villain.

Early arrival is advised to find yourself a comfortable area to sit, to avoid disappointment as we will be operating a first come, first served policy. Bring your own chair or blanket to sit on the pavement or grass, respectively. Extra bins will be available, and toilets and water fountains are located inside The Forum building.

Please note that event photography may take place during this screening for the purpose of promoting future events and offers in Southend. If you do not wish to be photographed, please make an event steward or member of staff aware.

Big Screen Southend is located outside of The Forum Southend-on-Sea in Elmer Square. For the exact location, please see here.

If you have any access issues or general questions, please do not hesitate to get in touch at focalpointgallery@southend.gov.uk
