Chalkwell Family Wild Beach

A one-off special session to celebrate National Marine Week down at Chalkwell Beach! This is a seashore-based wildlife day.

Meet the Essex Wildlife Trust Wilder Learning Team as we all come together for this special event!

Explore the Seashore and all it has to offer. We will be pool dipping, creating beach crafts, mud monsters and fun with water play, and of course a chance to build a sandcastle! Lots of fun and fabulous things to learn, make and take home.

On arrival, please check in at the logo’d gazebo before heading to activities. Meet on Chalkwell Esplanade – near the paddling pool, look out for our EWT logo gazebo for check-in point.

Suitable for ages 18 months up to primary aged children. Children must always be accompanied by an adult. Advance booking essential. Please book a ticket stating arrival time, you are welcome to attend and stay any time after that time.

Please come suitably dressed for the weather, puddle suits advised for little ones. Activities take place outdoors and, in all weathers, due to the outdoor nature of the event all activities are subject to change. Public toilets are accessible along Chalkwell seafront.

Tickets are £7 per child, book for one of 3 timeslots.
