The IronWorks Southend
10.00 am to 4.00 pm

It’s Children’s Mental Health Week from the 5 – 11 of February 2024

In line with this year’s theme which is “My Voice Matters”, Southend-on-Sea City Council have partnered up with Southend’s Youth Health Champions to host an event that celebrates and empowers young people and supports them with the tools they need to create a positive change to mental health and wellbeing.

Being held on Sunday 4 of February 2024 from 10am – 4pm at The IronWorks Southend, the Youth Health and Wellbeing event will be showcasing a range of community partners and health professionals, as well as an abundance of helpful resources that can be accessed locally.

This free event will have interactive workshops with activities such as dance, spoken word and graffiti art. There will also be exhibitions, A Mental Health Awareness Zone (with scheduled sessions including yoga and meditation), live speakers and performances and also a youth marketplace, with various things available to purchase.

Young people and families are welcome – drop in on the day and get involved!
