Storytelling with Southend Story Sacks

Westcliff Library
1.00 pm to 2.00 pm
Part of Raising Southend: A Festival of Conversations

Taking place as part of the A Better Start Southend Festival of Conversations taking place across Southend from 12-26 October for families with children up to 4-years-old, and early years’ professionals.

Pre-booking required.

Supported by community partners SAVS, who represent increasing confidence, serving the community and removing isolation, this session promotes literary literacy for your child.

This interactive, jungle-themed, storytelling activity will help your little one get curious about reading. We know it can be difficult for young children and families to access services and resources. This session is for those who like to find out more about libraries, reading materials and using the joys of storytelling, to interact with their children.

Families supported by A Better Start Southend and wider partners are welcome to the session, activities during the session can be taken home.

This session is open to all Southend families with children under 4 years old. Please pre-register for this storytelling session. Accessible parking, our onsite creche and toilet and baby changing facilities are available.

Please note all Festival of Conversations may have a photographer and videographer present to capture the session. There will be an option to opt out of any media consent upon arrival at the session.
