Located on the outskirts of Southend-on-Sea, London Southend Airport provides a stunning backdrop for this unforgettable experience. Guests can enjoy 30-minute flight experiences, with the freedom to tailor their route—whether that’s soaring over the picturesque Essex countryside or heading out across the coastline for breath-taking sea views.

From the moment the Spitfire accelerates down the runway, powered by its iconic Rolls-Royce Merlin engine, passengers are immersed in the sights, sounds, and sensations of this historic aircraft. Once airborne, guests will have the opportunity to take the controls under the guidance of a qualified pilot and truly experience what it’s like to fly this wartime legend.

For those seeking added excitement, the flight can include thrilling manoeuvres such as the famous Victory Roll, along with steep turns that showcase the Spitfire’s remarkable performance.
