Silent Book Club Southend

A monthly gathering of book lovers, reading quietly but in company at Beaumont Coffee Shop and Bar, Unit 1, Beaumont Court, 61-71 Victoria Ave, SS2 6EB.

At Silent Book Club there is no reading list or scramble to finish a book before the evening – simply bring your own choice of book, e-reader or audio book with earphones.

Be as social as you like (or not at all)

Format:
6.30-7pm – Arrive, get yourself a hot drink, chat, share book recommendations (or pick a comfy spot and start reading)
7-8pm – Silent reading

8-8.30pm – Socialising (or simply continue reading)
