Walk & Talk with the divers investigating Southend’s most famous shipwreck, on the 361st anniversary of the loss of the London on 7th March 1665

A walk along the length of Southend’s Pier with the amazing volunteer dive team that have been working on the wreck for over a decade. Hear about what it’s like to dive in the Thames right on the edge of the shipping lane, and learn about the wonderful recovered objects that are now displayed at Southend Central Museum.

Meet upstairs at the pier ticket office from 10.45am

Please Note: Tickets for the pier (Winter walking price of £1.60 pp) are not included in the price. Optional return train also at additional cost.

Departure at 11.00am. Walk is 1.3 miles each way.

Ending at the café at the end of the pier at approx. 12 noon

Cost: £10.00 donation per person (plus booking fee)
