Meet the people keeping you safe in Leigh at Leigh Fire Station’s open day. It’s taking place on Sunday, 26 June and you find out what it’s like to be a firefighter, what other roles in our service are available, pick-up safety advice, watch demonstrations and of course have lots of fun.
Our crews look forward to seeing you there!
There will be a host of activities at the station including the Fire Car from the road safety team, BBQ, drinks and refreshments, a bouncy castle, dunk the firefighter, water rescue equipment, the aerial ladder platform from Southend, a chip pan fire demonstration plus fire safety advice.
