Happy Feet – Kids Flicks

Beecroft Art Gallery
11.00 am to 1.00 pm

A special family friendly screening of ‘Happy Feet’ (2006), part of our ‘Kids Flicks’ series at the Beecroft Cinema Club.

“It just ain’t penguin, okay?!”

Beecroft Cinema Club presents ‘Kid’s Flicks’, screening family friendly films, every half term and school holidays on the big screen at the Beecroft Art Gallery.

Join the Beecroft Art Gallery during the May half term for a ‘Kid’s Flick’ screening, jukebox musical comedy ‘Happy Feet’ (2006). In this family favourite film, emperor penguins sing to each other to find their soulmate. ‘Mumble’ can’t sing and despite his best efforts is outcast from the colony, but discovers a talent for dancing as a way to express himself. After he is forced to leave his home, he embarks on a journey across the world to learn what is causing the local fish population to decline, and save his community. With stunning visuals and an amazing soundtrack, this feel good children’s classic celebrates what makes each person special, and delivers an important message about our responsibility to care for the world’s wildlife. This film has been chosen to compliment our ‘Wildlife Weekend’ half term event, 30-31 May.

Doors open and refreshments will be available from 10:30am and the film will start promptly at 11am (there are no adverts). There is no allocated seating.

The film’s run time is 1 hour 48 minutes.

The film is rated ‘PG’ and this screening is open to all ages.
