Easter Traditions Through the Ages

Led by one of Southend Museum’s Visitor Engagement Officers, this tour walks you through time in the historic setting of the Prittlewell Priory. From Easter’s unexpected Anglo Saxon and pagan roots, through Tudor and medieval practices, to the delights of a Victorian Easter.

These tours must be pre-booked here and tickets are £6/person. Each ticket includes a free hot drink afterwards!

We recommend a minimum age of 7 years due to the length and content of the tour. Please book the amount of tickets equal to the number of people in your group.
