Community Coronation Event
11.00 am to 3.00 pmThe Ironworks are delighted to invite you to our Community Coronation Event on Southend High Street Sunday May 7th 11am-3pm.
There will be an artisan market, including kids activities, workshops and games. Children will be able to creative a Royal drum, a Royal themed slate and take home a union jack flag and hat! There will also be bunting to create, as well as a Royal Bingo and a mini disco.
Live Art by local artists Abbey and Lisa Pearsons, Jay Sota and Sharon Stone as well as performances throughout the day.
Chris Robson, Scarlett Taylor, Sam Fraser amongst others will be busking under the bridge, there will be performances from local groups, including the Southend Brass Band, Hoy Shanty Crew, Leigh Starlight Majorettes and Magic Dave.
Attendees will be treated to a ‘Coronation Special’ buffet lunch inside The Ironworks- although free, booking is required so the team have numbers to cater for

Following the event, Band ‘Levent and Connor’ will be performing inside The Ironworks from 3.30pm to continue the party… all FREE to attend!
Activities will take place on the High Street, between the railway bridge and The Ironworks- no 90 Southend High Street, SS1 1JN
The Ironworks will also be screening the proceedings on Saturday 6th May, with free arts and crafts and activities to keep the children entertained.
