Spend an evening with the stars at the country’s only remaining analogue planetarium, after hours at Southend Central Museum.
Join us from 6pm at Southend Central Museum on 18 September, to enjoy a complimentary drink before uncovering the mysteries of the night sky in the planetarium, after hours. From constellations and comets to the sun, stars and beyond, our standard show is a great interstellar introduction to the study of space, scaled up for adults as part of our ‘museum lates’ event series.
Doors open at 6pm, with half an hour for exploring the museum downstairs. The show begins at 6:30pm, and the event finishes by 8pm.
Please note: once the show has started the lights are turned off in the planetarium to allow eyes to adjust for the star globe. As such, there will be no late admissions.
Pre-booking is essential. This event is 18+ only.
