Join us at The Ironworks for a free day of live music, creativity and community celebration as part of Southend City Day. Southend Sounds brings together local choirs, community groups and young performers for a vibrant programme of live performances throughout the day. With performances from The Songbird Academy, Gaudeamus Choir, The Hoy Shanty Crew, SODS and many more, the space will be filled with the sound of our city – from uplifting harmonies to emerging young talent.
Alongside the music, we’ll be hosting free Southend and Leigh-inspired arts and crafts activities. Drop in, get creative and celebrate the people, places and stories that make our community unique.
