Southend Pier Museum will be open for Southend City Day!
The museum is currently closed for the winter season so this is a great opportunity to visit and step back in time.
The Museum covers 200 years of the history of Southend Pier. The disasters, the entertainment, the role in the war are all explored with exhibits and displays in this unique museum. There is an original c.1890 electric “toastrack” tram and two other trains that you can climb aboard.
The Museum is free admission but is a charitable foundation, so donations are very welcome
