Regency Lawn Soirée

It is with the greatest pleasure that Southend YMCA extend an invitation to you for the social event of the season, in support of Southend YMCA,  the most anticipated Regency Lawn Soirée, to be held on Friday 10th July 2026 at the splendid and storied The Lawn in Rochford.

Set within the enchanting grounds of this magnificent manor house, the evening shall begin with a society welcome and drinks reception at 6.30pm, unfolding effortlessly from a genteel afternoon gathering into an evening of elegance, merriment, and celebration.

Those in attendance may expect delights most diverting, including:
A generous BBQ followed by indulgent desserts
A refined drinks reception, featuring a dedicated gin bar and more
Traditional garden games to amuse one and all – kindly sponsored by c2c
Spirited period dancing for those inclined to grace the floor
A tempting raffle and auction, sure to spark much interest
Ample opportunity to promenade, converse, and take in the splendor of one’s surroundings

And more surprises

Guests are encouraged to don Regency‑era attire, though smart dress is entirely acceptable for those preferring a more subtle style. Fancy dress is optional yet always lends an extra flourish to the occasion.

Carriages will await at midnight, and tickets are £65 per person, with all proceeds devoted to Southend YMCA’s mission to bring hope, opportunity, and brighter futures to young people within our community.
