Last of the Lizardmen & Monumental

Southend’s very own, home-grown reptilian rockers are an alt-rock four piece with a huge stage presence and even louder sound. Formed in 2019, the Lizardmen have performed across the UK and released the high-pace debut LP; ‘Reptilian Oblivion’. Each Lizardmen show is packed with bass driven dance-punk numbers, brooding metal cuts and playful lyricism.

Monumental are four talented young Essex lads with wildly different personalities who come together to create an unpredictable, unforgettable sound. Drawing inspiration from their musical heroes The Libertines, Catfish and The Bottlemen, and The Beatles, they’ve crafted a sound that is unmistakably their own…think roaring guitars, pounding rhythms and melodies that get stuck in your head.
