Southend’s leading breast cancer charity, Lady McAdden Breast Cancer Trust, are hosting a special “Ladies that Lunch” event on Friday 7th June, following the success of their event held on International Women’s Day that raised over £3000.
The lunch will be taking place at the prestigious 1935 Rooftop Restaurant at Southend’s Holiday Inn, with magnificent views of the airport runways, and a delicious 2-course lunch.
Lady McAdden are delighted to announce that they will be joined by Sarah Cawood as their guest speaker. Sarah was a familiar face on television in the ‘90’s, presenting Top of the Pops, among many other popular shows. Sarah was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2021 and has since made a full recovery, she will be talking about her fascinating life at the event.
The event is sponsored by The Bra Consultancy, a Maldon based lingerie store, who focus on providing the perfect fitting bra for their clients, they will be providing a little treat for each guest at the event. There is also a fantastic raffle that will be called on the day.
