Chalkwell Park Rooms
8.00 pm to 10.30 pm

King Joe & The Atlantics are an exciting 6 piece band influenced by the electrifying sounds of Rhythm & Blues with an ultimate all-star line-up of musicians!
Close your eyes and take a trip back to circa 1953 as you listen to the closest thing to a live concert with the likes of Amos Milburn, Floyd Dixon, Tiny Bradshaw, Big Joe Turner and Jimmy McCracklin! King Joe & The Atlantics are an exciting British based six-piece group influenced by the electrifying sounds of Rhythm & Blues, Jazz, Boogie and early Rock n Roll of the 1940’s and 50’s.

Their line-up includes a truly outstanding selection of experienced & renown players, including Nick Lunt (Jools Holland R&B Orchestra), Wayne Lee (Son of Albert Lee) and Al Nicholls (Big Town Playboys) along with up & coming youthful musicians thrown in the mix. A rare opportunity to see a truly authentic show at Annie’s Jazz in Chalkwell. This is top draw as far as R&B is concerned, and not to be missed.
