This Pride Month, local author James Robert Moore visits Southend Libraries to discuss his book ‘Not Good Enough’ a queer debut novel that speaks to the all-too-common feeling of falling short in relationships and life.
Exploring themes of betrayal, self-doubt, comparison, and the pressure of expectation, the novel is about breaking up with a partner, but also with yourself!
This event will take the form of an open conversation, offering insight into the ideas behind the book, Moore’s writing process, and the experiences that informed it. Suitable for ages 16+
Tickets are FREE and will be available from 28th May from Southend Libraries’ Eventbrite page and from The Forum Reception, call 01702 534111
