Fundraising Lunch

Calling all ‘Ladies that Lunch’, join Lady McAdden for their fundraising lunch for International Women’s Day on Friday 8th March 2024, 12 noon – 2.30pm at the 1935 Rooftop Restaurant, Holiday Inn Southend, Eastwoodbury Crescent, SS2 6XG.

In honour of International Women’s Day, they have organised a special lunch with an inspiring guest speaker.

Tickets are available from £37.50 per person and include a 2-course lunch with tea/coffee, and goody bag.

Funds raised from the event will go directly towards Lady McAdden and their work in raising awareness and promoting education of the early detection of breast cancer, as well as supporting women with their breast health through specialist nurse appointments.

The lunch menu is a main of Duo of Chicken, Roast chicken Breast on the bone, Garlic & thyme stuffed chicken leg ballotine. Dauphinoise potato, wilted baby spinach, Carrot puree, Sage & onion jus with dessert of Sticky Toffee Pudding Toffee sauce and Vanilla Ice Cream.

All dietary requirements will be catered to, with alternative vegan/vegetarian options. Please make them aware at the time of booking of any allergies or if you require a vegan/vegetarian dish. Additional dinks are available to purchase at the bar.

Their guest speaker is Gillian Millane OBE. Gillian is a breast cancer survivor, who has also persevered through immeasurable loss. After the passing of her daughter and husband she started the charitable initiative “Love Grace x” that operates in the UK and across the globe to provide handbags full of toiletries for domestic abuse victims. Gillian has also climbed Mount Kilimanjaro raising over £30,000. Join us to hear about her inspiring journey.
