This super fun, creative day welcomes all ages, abilities and backgrounds to explore all things performance and poetry! Special guest, The Repeat Beat Poet, Peter deGraft-Johnson, will lead attendees in their creative process of poetry writing, so we get to hear your voice on the things that matter most to you.
An open mic session will follow, where you can put your prose into action, or watch others perform! The ‘Repeat Beat Poet’, fuses a stream-of-consciousness, with Hip Hop culture, connecting thought, feeling and emotion. Peter has performed across the UK and internationally, with appearances at The Royal Albert Hall, The Edinburgh Fringe, The Spoken Word Paris and is a multiple, ‘Slam champion’. Please make use of the accessible parking, creche and baby changing facilities.
