Magor’s first solo exhibition in England presents a focused selection of works from the last five years that explore our relationship with the world of manufactured things. Using sculptural processes that mimic and transform these objects, Magor recasts everyday items, such as clothing and toys, into new roles independent of their original use or function. This revelatory exhibition by one of Canada’s foremost visual artists will tour to The Douglas Hyde Gallery of Contemporary Art, Dublin in July 2023, and then to Fondazione Giuliani per l’arte contemporanea, Rome in October 2023.
