Taking place as part of the A Better Start Southend Festival of Conversations taking place across Southend from 12-26 October for families with children up to 4-years-old, and early years’ professionals.

Diwali falls on October 24th and this activity-based workshop covers many areas including, Community, Skills and Home Safety, Pregnancy and Early Years Health, Storytelling and Reading and a free flow session, which the whole family can experience and enjoy.

Joins us at ABSS to celebrate in and learn about the Diwali Festival of light, in collaboration with Southend Family Centres and Essex Asian Women’s Association. Support staff will be on hand to answer questions and join in with the learning experience. Come along and create beautiful Rangoli colouring, using natural resources for inspiration – dry rice flour, coloured sand, rocks or petals and take your pieces home with you!
