Come along to FPG’s Creative Open Day where participants will have the opportunity to collaborate and experiment with materials to create their own sculptural assemblage! All are welcome.
This activity will be lead by local artist, Philippa Stewart, who will guide and encourage participants to playfully approach repurposed materials for sculpture like an artist.
Along with constructing their temporary sculptures, every participant will document their work with a range of exploratory drawings, which they can take home. All participants will learn about composition, placement and colour, thinking through making, as well as the fundamental basics of gestural drawing.
