Southend Christian Fellowship Plaza Centre

Part of the Southend on Sea City Council Concert Series

‘An incredible album… performed exquisitely by the National Symphony Orchestra Soloists’ – Classic FM

Director Justin – Pearson
Solo Clarinet – John Carnac

The NSO is one of the longest-established and most versatile professional freelance orchestras working in Britain today. It has an impressive recorded legacy as well as a busy diary of live concert performances. During the challenges of the 2020 COVID pandemic NSO Soloists were the first musicians to return to Air Lyndhurst studios, recording Debbie Wiseman’s score for the film “To Olivia” and reaching no 1 in the classical charts with the composer’s album for classic fm “Kings and Queens”, with Dame Helen Mirren and Damian Lewis. NSO Soloists also featured in two recent episodes of Netflix’s “The Crown” and again in “Bridgerton”. NSO Soloists were chosen to record the scores for Queen Elizabeth II 90th birthday celebrations and performed for Her Majesty’s Platinum Jubilee in 2022 at Windsor Castle.
