Ah, the voice of angels! Our much-beloved choir singers are coming back to The Royals throughout December, with an amazing line-up of local groups ready to entertain at the weekends. You’ll be wishing it was Christmas every day at The Royals.

11th December at The Royals. 11.00 am – 1 pm Leigh Orpheus Male Voice Choir

The Leigh Orpheus Male Voice Choir. A local men’s choir that sings a wide range of music from 16th Century madrigals to songs from the shows and modern classics. Every year we raise thousands of pounds for local charities. Men who are interested in experiencing what it’s like to sing in a men’s choir are always welcome.

11th December at The Royals  2 pm  Essex Vocal Coaching

Essex Vocal Coaching is a Vocal and Music School based in the heart of Southend, where students from the age of 5 through to Young Adults can learn to Sing, Play Music, Write Songs and Perform.

11th December at The Royals  3pm  The Show Choir

The Show Choir was founded in 2012 as a community-based choir with a strong focus on Musical Theatre. As well as traditional musicals such as The Greatest Showman, Les Miserables, Wicked, Chorus Line, Phantom of the Opera, The Lion King, Jersey Boys, we also cover the more modern ‘juke box’ musicals so you could find yourself singing anything from Cole Porter to Take That or Queen to Abba.

12th December at The Royals 12pm The La La’s

The La Las are an all female choir from Rayne, Braintree, singing for fun & fundraising since 2018. They have raised a whopping £5000 so far!  Current fundraiser, winter 2021, is for Mind Charity.

12th December Southend Boys and Girls Choir 

Chorus Sirenum and Southend Young Men’s Chorus
We are based in Southend-on-Sea, Essex and consist of a Girls’ and Boys’ Choir, Chorus Sirenum – a chamber choir for ladies in their 20s, Southend Young Men’s Chorus – Chorus for boys with changing voices, Step Up Choir and Little Singers.
 
These internationally acclaimed choirs perform widely across the UK and overseas, from Spain to The Seychelles, and France to Australia.
