Boredom Busters

Taking place as part of the A Better Start Southend Festival of Conversations taking place across Southend from 12-26 October for families with children up to 4-years-old, and early years’ professionals.

Professionals and families will come together in this session to deliver ideas suggested by parents and to share ideas and skills. At A Better Start Southend, it is our priority not only to provide learning and resources but to learn from you, the carers and parents about your needs in terms of support.

Join us at the Hub to gather ideas for low-cost boredom busters, with a takeaway goody bag of tips, tricks and materials to experiment with at home. Your tiny tot can enjoy a free flow of activity in both the hub and Pip’s playroom, where the story and rhyme-focused activities encourage communication and develop comprehension.

With some gentle guidance, your little ones can develop ideas with you by their side and get excited about their craft activities!

This session is open to all Southend families with children under 4 years old. Please pre-register, limited spaces are available. Accessible parking, our onsite creche and toilet and baby changing facilities are available.

Please note all Festival of Conversations may have a photographer and videographer present to capture the session. There will be an option to opt out of any media consent upon arrival at the session.
