Our BFI Film Academy: SCENE events provide the opportunity for young filmmakers to meet other creatives and film organisations in the region. These consist of workshops, talent mixers and showcase events, where young filmmakers will have the opportunity to watch other people’s film and promote their own creative work.
This month, we are joined by Lily Streames, founder of Essex Film Collective who will discuss the local opportunities for filmmaking in Essex! We will learn about how to network to forge your career in the industry, followed by the chance to try out your new skills. If you are aged 16-25 and looking to meet like-minded young people to collaborate with, this BFI Film Academy: SCENE event in Southend is the place for you.
