Babbling Babies & Talking Tiddlers taster session

9.30 am to 10.30 am

Taking place as part of the A Better Start Southend Festival of Conversations’ Early Years Activity & Wellbeing Roadshow.

Pre-booking required.

Little brains start developing from birth to age two and babies and toddlers need stimulation as much as nourishing food! We can help you and your little one with speech and language development, so they can express themselves with confidence.

Not all children develop in the same way, at the same rate and it can be a worrying and frustrating time for a parent to get their toddler talking. ABSS is here to make it fun!

A sensory session of sing-along, storytelling, activity and play-based learning will encourage your child to express their needs. Just like a house, a child’s brain needs building. Come together and help your child build a strong and healthy brain, by listening for sounds, learning new words and improving attention, through the Hello Song, Looking and Watching, Books for Joint Attention, the Magic Bag – exploring Textures in the Treasure Basket and enjoy helpful takeaways.

Accessible parking, toilet and baby changing facilities are available. Please don’t forget to pre-register for this session.

Please note all Festival of Conversations may have a photographer and videographer present to capture the session. There will be an option to opt-out of any media consent upon arrival at the session.
