A short walk along the seafront from Southend will take you to nearby Westcliff, where there's lots of great things to see and do.

Westcliff is home to the city’s two theatre venues; The Cliffs Pavilion and the Palace Theatre. Hosting a range of live music, stand-up comedy, musicals and plays throughout the year. Along the seafront, you can enjoy stunning views from the cliffs or visit Genting Casino if you’re feeling lucky!

Hamlet Court Road, in the heart of Westcliff-on-Sea, has a relaxed and inclusive atmosphere. This cosmopolitan street of independent retailers provides an eclectic mix of shops.

These include vintage shops, cafes, florists, bakers, a greengrocers, jewellers and a wool shop, many offering online shopping services. Ample free on-street parking is available plus two car parks. Nearby Westcliff Station offers a regular c2c train service to Fenchurch Street in as little as 45 mins.

Westcliff Train Station

Westcliff is an elegant town just west of Southend. It’s home to Cliffs Pavilion theatre which attractions West End shows and a variety of entertainment.
