Free Playwrighting Workshop for 13-19 year olds
Join Essex based playwright Kate Austen for a creative writing workshop exploring how stories can grow from music, images, memories and imagination. Participants will experiment with different creative stimuli and develop characters, dialogue and dramatic ideas, working towards writing at least one original scene to take away by the end of the day. A fantastic opportunity for young writers, performers and storytellers alike.
This is a fantastic opportunity for young people to:
• Meet new people and make friends.
• Express themselves through creativity.
• Build confidence and learn new skills.
Please bring a packed lunch and a water bottle.
Healthy snacks will be provided throughout the day.
No experience needed. For young people aged 13-19 years old. We are an inclusive youth theatre and welcome all young people, regardless of background or ability.
