An evening of powerful, uplifting music with multi-award-winning IDMC Gospel Soul Choir and musical director John Fisher BEM.
UK choir group IDMC blends gospel, soul, jazz and R&B influences to create an energetic and inspiring live experience, and has earned a reputation as one of the UK’s premier gospel choirs over 30 years.
The first Gospel Choir to receive a MOBO nomination, they were also BBC Songs of Praise ‘Gospel Choir of the Year’ finalists and winners of both Premier Gospel Radio Gospel Choir of the Year and the Urban Music Award for Best Gospel Act.
The group has appeared across the UK and Europe, including performing at the London Olympics with Heather Small.
With their joyful sound, rich harmonies and infectious energy, IDMC Gospel Soul Choir continues to inspire audiences with music that carries a message of love, hope, joy and peace.
Profits from this concert will be donated to Southend City Baptist Church (SCBC) to support their community meals programme this coming winter. These meals provide food, welcome and practical support for those who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in our local area.
The event takes place at Avenue Baptist Church, Milton Road, Westcliff-on-Sea, as part of its 150th anniversary celebrations.
