Southend Bach Choir Presents

Join the Southend Bach Choir for an evening of moving and uplifting choral music. The programme opens with J.S. Bach’s serene O Jesu Christ, meins Lebens Licht and Brahms’ beautifully crafted Geistliches Lied, before culminating in Brahms’ monumental Ein deutsches Requiem – a work of deep humanity, written to bring comfort and hope to the living.

Under the direction of Roger Humphrey, the choir will be joined by talented soloists and a wonderful accompanist for this memorable performance of one of the Romantic era’s most moving sacred masterpieces.
