Live Poetry Reading by Ruth Hazel2.00 pm to 2.30 pm
In a rare appearance Ruth will be performing as themselves to deliver their poem The Working Classes, a call to arms against the tired stereotypes that plague us. Followed by a live telling of their installation work Peanut Butter, a love affair, a memory, a story of overcoming trauma.
If you would like to also attend the later Creative Writing Workshop please book a separate ticket via Eventbrite.
Ruth Hazel aka Fanny von Beaverhausen is a working class queer artist from Pitsea. Fanny uses memory and the recall of a moment in time to tell a story and create connection with the listener. Using settings seemingly insignificant, the ignored spaces of domesticity and servitude.
