Leverets Trail

As part of the fabulous Hares about Town art trail local Schools, colleges and community groups from across Southend were invited to join in the fun.

50 Leverets (baby hares) have been designed and created by more than 40 schools and community groups across the Borough. The Leverets form their own trail in Southend’s cultural hotspots.

The sculptures gave an exceptional, creative opportunity to engage pupils in important topics – from environmental issues and the natural world, to citizenship, and health and wellbeing, to name a few.
