Halloween ParadeSouthend Seafront 5.00 pm to 7.00 pm
Some frightfully good fun is in store for families and visitors this autumn when the first ever Southend Halloween Parade takes place on Saturday 30 October.
The parade will feature exciting entries for the whole family including the world-renowned Spark! street theatre drummers, dance performances, a lighting spectacular and giant lit up puppets made by local artists. A stunning free seafront fireworks display will be the finale of the Parade.
The event is being organised by Southend Community Events in conjunction with Southend Council and Southend Tourism Partnership and replaces the annual August Carnival Procession which was cancelled this year due to uncertainty around Covid restrictions. The Fireworks Finale is funded by Southend BID.
Like the usual August Carnival, this Parade wouldn’t be complete without the involvement of our local community, which is why we want you to get involved! Whether your dance troupe can spook-up and join on foot, or your company wants to decorate a float, as long as your positively Halloweeny the more the merrier! Click here to find out more.
