Free Outdoor Cinema screenings at The Forum return for the fifth year!

This year’s programme includes film titles that have been chosen in response to Southend Libraries annual summer reading challenge, ‘Wild World Heroes’.

Taking place every Saturday in August at 3.00pm, screenings are free and no booking is necessary. However, due to safety restrictions, early arrival is advised to find yourself a comfortable area to sit, to avoid disappointment. Don’t forget to bring your own chairs or blanket!

‘Bee Movie’ The story follows Barry B. Benson, a honey bee who sues the human race for exploiting bees, after learning from his florist friend Vanessa Bloome that humans sell and consume honey.

Whilst restrictions have eased, we remain committed to keep members of the public and staff safe. Check out the Facebook page for more details.
