The People’s Gallery are pleased to present an exhibition by Elzbieta Wislocka, showcasing a selection of portraits, still lifes and landscape paintings executed in a variety of media.
A quote from the artist: ‘I have drawn and painted things in my everyday life since I was a child in war-ravaged Poland, three-quarters of a century ago. My art is representational and straightforward – I want my pictures to be easily understood and appreciated for their simple beauty, without the need to explore hidden meanings or abstract concepts. I paint and draw what I see, how I see it.’
The paintings will be on display in The People’s Gallery located in The Forum from the 2nd December until the 30th.
