Join us at Kent Elms Library on 30 September and help us design the library of the future - in Lego!
This event is FREE for children to attend with their parents, as part of CILIP’s Libraries Week celebrations.

CILIP is running a competition in libraries across the UK inviting people to get creative and build their ‘Library of the Future’ out of LEGO. The most innovative and inspired entry will receive tickets toLEGOLAND® Windsor! Plus £500 for your local library.

The competition to Build the Library of the Future is open to anyone based in the UK. We are encouraging people to share their photos of their LEGO library build on twitter, telling us what is unique or innovative about their library of the future.

The competition is open between 23rd September and 7th October, which is the first day of Libraries Week. Library champion, Bobby Seagull will judge the competition selecting a shortlist of 6 entries and a winner.

You can find out more about the competition here: www.librariesweek.org.uk/library-of-the-future/
