A beautifully recorded and perfectly performed album with
something new for all listeners.’ - Classic FM
The Chamber Ensemble of London has featured dozens of times on
Classic FM and BBC Radio 3 and appeared at most major London
venues – the Purcell Room, St Martin-in-the-Fields, St James’s
Piccadilly, the Banqueting House, Kings Place, Conway Hall etc.
The ensemble, up to 14 string players, is directed by the violinist
Peter Fisher, amongst a handful of the world’s finest musicians. For
many years it was associated with the Wavendon Festival, run by
Sir John Dankworth and Dame Cleo Laine. The group’s versatile
