Unknown to those around him, introvert Jake, illiterate and unable to hold down a basic job, is intelligent and ingenious – strengths he uses to secretly observe his desirable neighbour, Alice, who lives with her boyfriend, Guy, a small-time criminal and drug pusher. When Jake finally crosses the line, from voyeur to manipulator, things start to come to a head. Then Alice is assaulted by Guy - and Jake decides to rescue her in his own ingenious, yet ultimately dangerous, way. This compelling film mixes the edgy character study of One Hour Photo with black humour right out of the Coen brothers.

Introduced by director James Smith and writer/producer Caroline Spence

Plus short film The Job introduced by director Pedro del Battenberg, producer Marie-Ann del Battenberg and actor Howy Bratherton
