National Dial-A-Ride-Scheme
- Door-to-door transport service for people of any age whose disabilities prevent them from using conventional forms of transport.
- Gives residents and visitors to Southend the freedom and independence to travel within the Southend and Castle Point districts.
- Available to registered users only. Registration is by completion of an application form - no registration fee required. Applications can be made on-line at www.southend.gov.uk or download the form from www.southend.gov.uk/resources/dar1.pdf.
- 24 hrs notice (minimum) to one week's (maximum) notice is required but please note the booking is subject to space being available.
- A single or return fare is payable for the service.
