As well as a fine collection of local views, including paintings by Alfred Herbert, one of Southend's best artists whose beautiful and often dramatic works are quite collectible and are great favourites with Beecroft's visitors. Special exhibitions are held througout the year.

The Gallery is in Station Road, Westcliff, just opposite the Cliffs Pavilion. Driving along the A13 (London Road, turn towards the sea at 'The Cricketers' pub. Over the railway bridge, round the next block of houses on a 1-way system and you're there. Parking is mainly on-street (free) but there is also a large pay and display car park in Shorefield Road.
The nearest station is Westcliff-on-Sea, on the Fenchurch Street line from London. The gallery is quarter a mile to the east. If you're arriving on the Liverpool Street line, the Gallery is about a half mile walk.
