We are always looking to enhance the town centre shopping experience by hosting markets so if you are an operator or a stallholder interested in trade space in Southend please give us a call on 01702 215448.
We positively encourage applications from local producers and stallholders with good quality authentic continental products. Our previous Christmas German Market's have proven to be extremely popular - especially our Gluwein bar.
Trade space at Southend Farmers Market
A traditional ‘Farmers' Market' has been running in the Southend Town Centre now for over two years and is operated by Essex Farmers Markets. Bright market stalls sell traditional farming produce providing an opportunity for people to purchase local, freshly-cultivated goods including meats, cakes, vegetables, herbs, condiments and much more.
The market has a regular bi-monthly slot of the 2nd and 4th Saturday of every month and is usually located outside the Natwest Bank on Southend High Street. The market commences at 8.30am closing around 4pm. Early attendance is strongly advised.

Christmas Market
Located between Victoria Circus and the Natwest bank at the top end of the High Street the market attracts shoppers looking for that perfect Christmas gift and offers a brilliant place to relax and indulge in the festive atmosphere.
Our aim is to:
- Create a balanced market for visitors with a range of goods at a range of prices.
- Encourage handcrafted, original, home produced and specialist goods to enhance the seasonal nature of the event.
